Don’t mistake motion with progress

Motion is not progress. Some people are always getting things done, but they may be doing the wrong things.

People often mistake motion for progress. If you’re constantly busy, but not making any meaningful progress, it’s time to take a step back and evaluate your work habits.

The old adage “motion is not progress” was coined as a way to remind people that if they’re spinning their wheels but not getting anywhere, they may need to re-evaluate their approach.

Some of the most successful people in history might seem like they are always moving forward at a fast pace, but they work on what is important to them.
